Editing.
On Monday the 15th of March, and today we have begun editing our advert. After re-filming it and getting a better quality version, has allowed us to get a better on screen advert. With that we are now able to add in effects in the right places to make it better and we have been able to cut, extend and shorten bits that were / weren't needed. We still haven't quite finished as we still need to add in a few sound effects here and there and do the odd bit of adjusting in parts, however it is starting to look good and how we first imagined it to look.
Producing The Can.
Before filming we needed to create a few cans that would feature in the production. To do this, after all discussing and agreeing on which design we all want, we printed off a few copies that would fit around a can the size we had chosen. After attaching our design to the can, we had to empty and crunch up one of the cans, that would feature first in the filming, on the passenger seat of the car. These are some pictures of the development of the can :

Filming Take 2.
On Thursday the 4th of March, me and my group filmed are advert at the arranged set. We had the camera, cars, actor and crew all prepared and went ahead with the filming. However, because our actor couldn't make it early enough, the sunlight had begun going down and we didn't have enough light to capture most of the filming. In the end the result came out as being too dark and didn't work for the image we had set for our advert.
After looking back at what we captured that day, we decided that a re-film of the production was in order. So on Saturday the 13th of March we went back to the 'set' and re-filmed it. This made us able to get the right piece of film that we needed to achieve a good enough lightening, colours, and atmosphere for what we wanted.
These are some pictures from the first take of the advert, i have re-lighted them on the right hand side so they
are easier to see :

Can Design.
My group and i have finally come to a decision on which, out of all of our designs, will be the one we will use. We came to an agreement that one of Patricks designs will work best for our product. This is because it has similar colours on it that mine and James' had, which meant we all had similar ideas on what would attract the public, and was put together really well.
Filming.
Unfortunately the filming for our first advert didn't go ahead because of some absents and schedule conflicts. However my group have planned and arranged to start filming the car advert for our first piece of shooting.
We have arranged props such as cars needed to be in the advert to be at the filming location, and have sorted out actor(s). After filming, we can begin working on editing the piece throughout the week.
